Vote By Mail

Can’t Get to the Polls? Too Busy to Vote?  In New Jersey, any voter can vote by mail for any reason or no reason at all using the Vote By Mail ballot. 

If you are a qualified and registered voter, then you may apply for a Vote By Mail ballot by completing the application and mailing to the address below. The deadline for such requests by mail is 7 days before any and all elections (Primary, General, School, etc).  A Vote By Mail voter may also apply in person at the County Clerk’s Office on any working day until 3:00 p.m. on the day before the election.

Military Voting

Active-duty members of the Armed Forces, Merchant Marine, Public Health Service, NOAA, and their family members may register to vote and apply for a Vote By Mail ballot by using the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA). 

New Jersey law permits the emailing of Vote By Mail ballots to Uniformed Service Members and their families.   The Federal Post Card Application is available online at the FVAP web site:  www.fvap.gov

Election Information

As a service to the public, the County Clerk’s Office maintains voter registration lists for 25 cents per district. By law these lists must be used for election purposes only. Campaign Expenditure Reports are on file also.
