  • Vocational counseling to veterans and other applicants

  • Refer to other agencies for job training
  • Refer to other agencies for supportive services (health, housing, legal, etc)
  • Public access to computers featuring the Workforce New Jersey's One-Stop website (Job Bank, resume bank, directories of training and services, etc.)
  • Assistance in the use of the computers, if needed
  • Assistance with entering resumes in America's Talent Bank
  • Fax, phone and copiers available for use by those actively seeking employment
  • Self-Employment Assistance (SEA)---help in starting up your own business
  • Certification for College Free Tuition program for the unemployed
  • Vocational Rehabilitation Services
Services for unemployment insurance claimants:
  • Public access to One-Stop computers for posting resumes and searching for jobs
  • Processing of Unemployment Insurance claims
  • Orientation to other services that are available to job seekers (for example, referral to jobs, employment counseling, job search workshops, resume preparation assistance, training and other services.
Services to employers include, among others:
  • Screening and referral of appropriate job candidates from the largest pool of workers
  • On-site (at employer's location) recruitment and screening for the employer
  • Positive recruitment-employer can conduct recruitment using the office and facilities of Workforce New Jersey.
  • Employers can set up on-the-job training for workers through Workforce New Jersey
  • Register migrant seasonal farmworker crew leaders, agents and vehicles and inspect the vehicles
Services:
  • Review of the individual's skills, aptitudes and work experience
  • Employment counseling
  • Information regarding support services (legal, health, housing, etc.) that are available and referral to appropriate agencies for needed services
  • Training (if appropriate)
