In 1989, The Department of Economic Development started its Small Business Assistance and Counseling Center. Small business persons operating their business in Gloucester County may walk in or call the Department of Economic Development number at (856) 384-6930 to receive counseling and other business assistance. This free service is sponsored by the Board of Chosen Freeholders.
