Hertiage Tourism

Gloucester County is host to numerous historical and cultural sites.  The Red Bank Battlefield and Memorial in National Park is home to a decisive battle of the Revolutionary War and affords a scenic view of the Delaware River.  The historic Whitall House on the site was used as a field hospital for wounded Colonial and Hessian soldiers.

The county's wine tasting tours showcase our burgeoning wine making industry and the panoramic landscape of our many century-old farms.  As one of the top peach producing counties in the nation, breath-taking pink spring blossoms turn into an abundant crop of juicy award-winning peaches.
