Re.: Sentence in bank robbery
Quamaine J. Jackson (DOB 3/18/94), of Chesilhurst NJ was sentenced today (2/23) to eight years in New Jersey state prison after pleading guilty to participating in the 3/23/16 robbery of the BB&T bank in West Deptford.
In imposing the sentence, Superior Court Judge ordered Jackson and his codefendants to repay the bank $137,700, starting after his release from prison.
Under the New Jersey No Early Release Act, Jackson must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence before becoming eligible for parole.
Codefendant Travis C. Stanback (DOB 1/2/81), of Paulsboro NJ, pleaded guilty to second degree robbery and was sentenced 2/5/18 to ten years in New Jersey state prison. Codefendant Latoya Y. Bryson (DOB 12/24/77) of Vineland pleaded guilty to third-degree theft and was sentenced to three years on probation and 364 days in county jail. Charges were dismissed against the sister of Travis Stanback, Charmaine M. Stanback (DOB 9/29/90), who is deceased.
