Identification Cards
Effective December 1st, 2012, the Gloucester County Clerk will no longer be issuing County Identification Cards due to a change in policy by the US Department of State.
Property Fraud Alert
In an effort to reduce the risk of real estate fraud, the County Clerk's Office has launched a free "Property Fraud Alert Website" for homeowners to register to receive notification each time a document is registered in their name.

A fraudulent document, Notice of Tax Lien Investigation, has recently been circulated to residents of Gloucester County. Please be aware, this is not an official document. Do not call the phone number provided in response to this request. A sample of the fraudulent document is available here. Gloucester County Foreclosure Prevention Assistance Program
During these tough economic times, The County Clerk’s Office is proud to offer a free program to help Gloucester County residents keep their homes. It is the goal of the Foreclosure Prevention Assistance Program to provide help and support to consumers who are experiencing difficulty meeting their monthly mortgage obligations. This program provides assistance in negotiating modifications to existing mortgage loans and provides critical information for homeowners to avoid foreclosure.
