Any Gloucester County citizen interested in becoming a notary public can obtain an application from the Clerk’s Office. Then, a State Senator or Assemblyman must sign this application. Once the paperwork comes back to the citizen from the state, he/she appears before the County Clerk’s Office in order to be sworn in as a notary public.

The fee for this service is $15.00 cash or check, and a scheduled appointed is not required. Similarly, a complimentary notary public Manual is given to all notaries when they appear for their oath of office.
