Gloucester County DTS provides transportation to work and vocational related endeavors for people with disabilities and low income residents who are unable to use other forms of transportation effectively.
DTS provides both direct and feeder type transportation to work and vocational activities.
An example of this type of service is the Pureland East-West Shuttle
Feeder transportation allows residents to access NJ Transit by using DTS vehicles to connect with bus routes when they are inconvenient due to distance from home or work.
Feeder service is offered Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm.
Direct transportation and feeder transportation are offered following the completion of an application by the resident requesting work transportation.
Upon receiving the application, DTS staff will contact the resident and advise them as to the ability of DTS to provide service.
Some residents will be placed on a waiting list until service can be rendered.
