Job Fair for Financial Sector to be held at Gloucester Countys Clayton Complex
(Clayton, NJ) A Financial Sector Job Fair will take place at Gloucester Countys Government Services Building in Clayton on Thursday, Jan. 15. The NJ Financial Services Talent Network and the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders have partnered to host this job fair to highlight Financial Services Industry Week that takes place Jan. 12 through Jan. 16, 2015.
Freeholder Director Robert Damminger said, This job fair is aimed at connecting employers to jobseekers who specialize in banking, accounting, insurance, mortgage origination and debt collection.
Freeholder Simmons said, This is a unique job fair and when the Financial Services Talent Network asked to hold it here in Gloucester County we were very receptive. We were the first county they have asked to partner with for an industry specific job fair.
We encourage residents to come out and bring their resumes, dress professionally and be ready to interview on site, said Simmons who serves as the Freeholder Liaison to the Department of Economic Development.
The Financial Sector Job Fair will be on Thursday, Jan. 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Gloucester County Government Services Complex, 1200 N. Delsea Drive, Clayton. At 10:00 a.m. residents can come out to an information session about a new Mortgage Loan Officer Training program that will be starting at Rowan College at Gloucester County through the Continuing Education Program. This new training program could be free to eligible residents.
