Gloucester County hosts American Job Center Open House
(Thorofare, NJ) – On Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, the Gloucester County Workforce Development Board hosted 75 business executives, non-profit partners, county and state government agencies at their first American Job Center Open House.
The American Job Center located in Gloucester County offers many free resources and program opportunities for business. Employers can benefit from a wide range of hiring incentives, on the job training grants, career connections, business resource center, and employer driven recruitment events.
Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said, "Gloucester County is dedicated to working with our local businesses to help create and expand job opportunities and education advancements for our residents."
Freeholder Heather Simmons, liaison to Economic Development said, “By creating more partnerships with the business community, we will be able to provide more opportunities for job seekers to find quality employment. That is why we invited them to see what the American Job Center is all about.”
Simmons added, “It is our goal to connect local businesses with our highly trained workforce and assist them in their hiring needs.”
