Commemorative service plaques honor veterans in Glassboro

(Glassboro) - Veterans and elected officials gathered on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in the Glassboro Town Square at the Veterans Memorial Plaza.

The ceremony was to unveil five commemorative service plaques representing each branch of the US Military.

The five plaques are dedicated to honoring the memory and the personal sacrifices made by New Jersey's veterans who have fought in all wars. It provides a tranquil place to reflect upon the heritage left by the men and women of New Jersey who have served in the United States military.

Air Force: "Aim High...Fly, Fight, Win"

Army: "This We'll Defend"

Coast Guard: "Semper Paratus" (Always Prepared)

Marine Corps: "Semper Fidelis" (Always Faithful)

Navy: "Non sibi sed patriae" (Not Self, but Country)
