Senior Citizen Picnic Tickets Available on July 5th
(Woodbury, NJ) - Gloucester County Freeholder Director Stephen M. Sweeney and Freeholder Helene M. Reed announced today that the Annual Senior Citizen Picnic will be held at the Red Bank Battlefield, National Park on September 13, 2005 from 11:00AM to 3:00PM. A Buffet lunch will be served at 12:00 noon.
Tickets will be available beginning Tuesday, July 5th at Gloucester County Division of Senior Services, 211 County House Road, Sewell, or at the satellite office at the Budd Boulevard Complex, in West Deptford. Tickets are $2.00 per person. The offices are open from 8:30 AM - 4 PM
"The Annual Senior Citizen Picnic is a time honored tradition in Gloucester County", said Freeholder Director Sweeney. "Folks look forward to it and they have a great time."
Freeholder Helene M. Reed, liaison to the Department of Health and Senior Services said, "This year's picnic theme is Wild, Wild, West and I am sure it will not disappoint." Reed said, "Our Senior Services staff and all of the county departments that participate in this event go out of their way to make an extra special day for our senior citizens with dancing, food and entertainment and a good time is always had by all."
