Redbank Battlefield fights back against the cold with fun activities for all ages

(National Park, NJ) The incoming cold weather hasn't managed to slow down any activities within the county, including those taking place at Redbank Battlefield Park and the James and Ann Whitall House.

Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said, "Winter at Redbank Battlefield Park is beautiful and there are still many great events taking place."

Programs offered at the Whitall house include Spice Ball Pomander Craft Class on Saturday, Jan. 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Hearth Cooking Class offered on Saturday, Jan. 19 and Saturday, Jan. 26 from noon to 4 p.m.

Freeholder James Lavender, Liaison to the Department of Parks, said, “The cold weather can challenge our residents to find activities, but Gloucester County Parks and Recreation makes it easy. History  Tots and Nature Tots take place throughout the winter season offering fun, educational programs for kids.”
