Nature Tots winter session open for registration
(Clayton, NJ) The Gloucester County Department of Parks and Recreation have scheduled a winter session of Nature Tots.
Freeholder Jim Lavender, Liaison to the Department of Parks and Recreation said, "There's so much we can learn from nature, and each season brings something new and unique to see or explore. Beginning in January children will be able to experience a variety of nature-based programs through our Nature Tots program."
Winter Sessions will last from Jan. 21 to March 31 and include the following programs:
Jan. 21 - Owls
Jan. 28 - Eagles
Feb. 4 - What lives in the leaves?
Feb. 11 - Dead trees bring new life
Feb. 18 - Mammals of Scotland Run
Feb. 25 - Pond life
March 3 - Bats
March 10 – Bluebirds
Nature Tots programs are free and held every Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. All programs will be held at Scotland Run Park, located at 980 East Academy Street in Clayton. While all sessions are free, preregistration is required. Call 856-251-6710 for more information.
