Scotland Run Moth Night will be held virtually this year

(Clayton, NJ)—The Gloucester County Department of Parks and Recreation invites you to attend our virtual Moth Night on Sunday, June 28.

This year due to COVID-19 restrictions, Moth Night will take place online.

The second Annual Moth Night will be held on the Scotland Run Park Facebook page. Dr. Daniel Duran will share photos and videos on the Facebook page so your family can run their own event on your own time. Photos will begin to be posted at 3 p.m. ET.

“This is an amazing way to learn and discover the insects that call Gloucester County home,” said Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger. “The photos and videos will allow you to be your own environmentalist and share your knowledge with your family.”

“We are looking forward to sharing this event virtually so all of our nature lovers can experience Moth Night,” said Freeholder Jim Lavender, liaison to Parks and Recreation. “Make sure you’re sharing your pictures and findings with us on Facebook.”

Residents are encouraged to share their pictures by tagging Scotland Run Park on Facebook.
