9th Annual Bankers & Brokers Breakfast
(West Deptford, NJ) - Gloucester County Freeholder Director Stephen M. Sweeney and Freeholder Joseph A. Brigandi Jr. today announced that the Gloucester County's 9th Annual Bankers & Brokers Breakfast will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at RiverWinds Community Center in Thorofare. Registration and breakfast are at 7:30 and the program runs from 8:00 am to 10:30 am.
The event is free and registration is required in advance. To register call the Gloucester County Department of Economic Development at 384-6930.
Freeholder Director Sweeney said that this year's event will feature a panel of speakers who will discuss trends in the industrial real estate marketplace and attraction and retention efforts.
"These are unprecedented times, and the county is doing everything we can to give business leaders a forum where they can acquire information and resources directly from the people who provide the services," Director Sweeney said. "When the county started this event we were in a high growth mode. Times are different now, but it is valuable to get everyone's perspective on what trends are on the horizon," said Sweeney.
Freeholder Brigandi said that 150 business leaders, decision makers, government officials and economic development professionals from around the region will attend Gloucester County's Department of Economic Development's 9th Annual Bankers and Brokers Breakfast.
Brigandi said, "Gloucester County works to create partnerships with the private sector because they have made significant investments in our communities and employ our residents. We use every tool we have so they can be successful and keep our economy moving ahead." Freeholder Brigandi is the liaison to the Department of Economic Development and Education.
This year's Panel Speakers include Louis J. Battagliese, Jr., Jackson Cross Partners, Deptford Township Mayor Paul Medany, Jeanne O'Connor of Select Greater Philadelphia and Harris Friedberg from NJEDA.
