Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity College Center to be Dedicated for Eugene McCaffrey Sr.


The Gloucester County Board of Freeholders will hold a ceremony to dedicate and name the Gloucester County College Center for Eugene J. McCaffrey, Sr.  The building will bear McCaffrey's name and a bronze plaque will be installed to pay tribute to one of the founding fathers of Gloucester County College.

McCaffrey, who passed away in April, held many prominent public roles throughout his lifetime, including six years as Freeholder Director (1967 to 1972) where he spent much of his time working on the creation and construction of Gloucester County College.
