Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity Ground To Be Broken For University Center at GCC


Gloucester County Freeholders, College Officials and representatives from Fairleigh Dickenson University will hold a ground breaking ceremony for the new University Center at Gloucester County College.

The new 24,000 square-foot facility to be constructed on the main campus of GCC will house 13 Smart classrooms and be built with no net cost to county taxpayers. With enrollment at an all-time high and classroom space at a premium, the University Center will help to address the needs of GCC students during the day and be used in the evenings by Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) for undergraduate and graduate programs. Other affiliations with four-year universities are also anticipated to offer advanced degree programs in the future.
